The Open-air museum “Old Village” in Sirogojno has the honour to invite you to the opening of the exhibition “Where have Zduhać gone”.
In Serbia, there was a widespread belief that there existed particular people who had power to protect their property, village or region from destructive effects of the flames.
Individuals, mostly adult men were known as zduhać, zduhač, zduvać, stuhač, zduha, zduva, vetrovnjak, wind dukes or village defenders.
